Science

Science study at NEA exposes students to the process of scientific inquiry, which encourages them to problem solve, to think critically, to effectively interpret data and other information, and to successfully use mathematics as “the language of Science”. Proficiency and literacy in the sciences not only creates a variety of career opportunities, but also helps students to make informed, critical decisions in their personal lives and as part of society. In addition, all students participate in a school-wide Science Fair in the first semester and an Engineering Challenge in the second.
